The Sultan Ismail Putra International Islamic College (Kias) has been upgraded to a university college. Kelantan Islamic Development, Education and Dakwah Committee chairman Datuk Mohd Amar Nik Abdullah said the upgrading was approved by the National Accreditation Board (LAN).
