Budget carrier Firefly will extend its code-share partnership with parent company Malaysian Airline System Bhd (MAS) to include its latest Singapore route by mid-July, managing director Eddy Leong said Tuesday.

SilkAir Launches Services To Penang
Starting today, SilkAir operates twice-daily flights between Singapore and Penang. Together with Singapore Airlines’ daily service to the Malaysian state, the two airlines will offer a total of three daily flights to Penang. Singapore Airlines will operate the morning flights while SilkAir’s services will be in the afternoon and evening.
