Students In Holiday Islands Can Be Apprentice Tour Guides, Says Tourism Minister

The Tourism Ministry plans to get secondary schools students in holiday islands to become apprentice tour guides. Its minister Datuk Seri Dr Ng Yen Yen said for a start, the ministry would work with the Terengganu government to initiate a pilot project on this in Pulau Perhentian.

Vladivostok To Become Kota Kinabalu’s Fourth Sister City

The Kota Kinabalu City Hall (KKCH) reached another milestone on Monday, when it added Vladivostok in the Russian Federation, as it fourth Sister City. Mayor Datuk Iliyas Ibrahim and his Vladivostok counterpart, Igor Pushkaryov, officially established the Sister City relationship during a signing ceremony in the Russian city on Monday.
