“We will make the tin dredge and Gua Tempurung as tourist destinations,” she told reporters after launching Taiping Tourism Festival at Taman Tasek, here, today.
Hamidah said the Royal Belum was more than 130 million years old while the Gua Tempurung was estimated to have existed more than 400 million years ago.
She said the historical aspect would also be developed as a tourist attraction in the districts and smaller towns.
