The morning of 20th May 2011 turned out to be a bright and sunny day despite the heavy downpour that showered most parts of Kuala Lumpur the night before. This was a good thing for all expatriate amateur golfers who participated in the TNT – Expatriate Lifestyle Charity Golf Open 2011 that was held at the prestigious Royal Selangor Golf Club in Kuala Lumpur, as it meant that they were able to play on one of the best courses in the country.
The Malaysia.com team were fortunate enough to be extended an invitation to catch all the excitement happening on the field the other day. All of the golfers gave nothing but their best in the tournament, with one of them scoring a Hole in One on the course! The tournament also managed to raise a generous amount of RM40,000 which was later presented to three of TNT and Expatriate Lifestyle’s charities of choice: Rumah Nur Salam, Precious Children’s Home and Puchong Perdana Centre.
Here is a glimpse of what transpired during the day:-
