“Komuniti 1Malaysia” carnivals will be held in Johor, Pahang and Negeri Sembilan in conjunction with the Jelajah 1Malaysia cycling race from March 8 to 13. Information Department deputy director-general (Strategic Information) Datuk Poziah Abdul Rahman said the carnivals gave government agencies an opportunity to bring their services to the people via exhibitions and counters.

“The three locations are Dataran Kluang, Johor (March 9 and 10), Dataran Pekan, Pahang (March 11 and 12) and Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM), Negeri Sembilan (March 12 and 13),” she told a press conference.
Besides this, she said the carnivals would also serve to promote Malaysia as an attractive tourism destination by showcasing local culture and other selling points of Malaysia to the foreigners participating in the event.
