The Kuala Gandah Elephant Reserve is meant to protect the wildlife of Malaysia while allowing visitors to experience its beauty.

A day trip to Kuala Gandah (about 2.5-hrs drive from Kuala Lumpur) – Visiting the elephant sanctuary is a very rewarding experience. At this place, visitors are able to come in close contact with semi wild elephants and witness the exciting conservation programme in action located in a beautiful tropical rainforest. Here, you will have a chance to enjoy elephant rides, feeding the elephants fruit and joining them while they bathe in the river with their skilled trainer near by. This highly skilled, specialized unit is dedicated to the protection and conservation of "Elephas Maximus" an Asian elephant.
