Kinabalu Park & Poring Spring (2D/1N)

Explore Kinabalu National Park home to some of the world's oldest rainforests and the majestic Mount Kinabalu.

DAY 1: KOTA KINABALU - PORING

Transfer to Poring (130km) on the east of Kinabalu Park Headquarters. Vegetation here is of tropical lowland rainforest. Explore the rainforest from the treetop canopy walkway. Visit Kipungit Waterfall and soak in hot sulphur bath - a therapeutic experience. Overnight in standard hotel/chalet in Kundasang. (Lunch/Dinner)

After breakfast, depart for Kinabalu Park Headquarter. Mt Kinabalu, the highest mountain in Southeast Asia towers majestically at 4095 m (13431 feet). Visit the Mountain Garden - home to many species of flowering rhododendrons, pitcher plants, ferns & plants. Enjoy a marked nature trail in the montane forest. Return to Kota Kinabalu in the afternoon. (Breakfast/Lunch)

What to bring: Raincoat, insect repellent, water bottle. For those who wish to dip in the pool, bring swim wear, towel & toiletries
