Malaysian International Furniture Fair 2011

The Malaysian International Furniture Fair 2011 is Asia Pacific’s premier furniture fair which is organised annually. The fair started out as a way to promote Malaysian furniture manufacturers to the world and has grown and evolved tremendously over the past 16 years. This year it will be held from the 1st till 5th March at two of Kuala Lumpur’s most prestigious venues – the Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC) and the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC). This award-winning trade fair has managed to attract thousands of international visitors from over 140 countries to its exhibition every year. Its selected exhibitors are known for their professionalism, high standards and flexibility in meeting the buyer’s standards.

Home furniture

With a total exhibition space of over 80,000 square metres from both of the venues, this year’s exhibition is set to showcase over 500 exhibitors from countries like Malaysia, China, Taiwan, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, Philippines and others. All types of furniture will be showcased during the exhibition including furniture accessories, occasional furniture, outdoor/garden furniture, fitting and hardware as well as children’s furniture. Some of the companies that will be participating in the exhibition include well-known brand names like Euro Steel Systems Sdn. Bhd., A M-Office Group Industries Sdn. Bhd. and Fella Design Sdn. Bhd.

Office furniture

The trade fair is open to trade visitors from the industry and invited guests only. Guests who missed the deadline for pre-registering, there is an entrance fee of RM20 charged per person. The fair will be open to the public on the 5th March 2011 with an entrance fee of RM20 per person. The fair is open from 9.30 am till 6.00 pm throughout the duration of the exhibition.
